Abstract
|
|
|
Hemangiopericytoma is an uncommon tumor which is thought to originate from the pericyte of Zimmermann.
Its vascular origin accounts for a ubiquitous occurence within the human body and is also responsible for a vast variety of pathologic behavior pattern relative to different host tissue. This renders an exact assessment of the malignant potential of hemangiopericytoma difficult and consequently confuses the clinician in determining the proper extent of extirpation or use of radiation and chemotherapy.
We report a case of hemangiopericytoma experienced at the department of surgery, medical school, Chung Ang university.
